Hey there, I’m Felicia.

What began as capturing awkwardly posed self-portraits swiftly turned into me taking up the role of my friends’ personal paparazzi, until I eventually found my true fervour in animal photography. I have always gravitated towards analog and instant photography. For me, analog photography holds a certain “je ne sais quoi”, a nostalgic whisper to authenticity and raw beauty.

Growing up, I constantly felt a desire for a creative outlet. I have tried my hand at singing, playing guitar, knitting, drawing, painting—you name it, I’ve done it. Photography is the only thing that has stuck with me. Although I still sing in the shower from time to time.

I’m in my (very) early thirties. I’m a Sagittarius. I was born in Belgium, but I have Chinese-Indonesian roots. I’m like a fusion dish of cultures. I have a chocolate British Longhair named Boulette. As Marie Kondo would say, animals spark joy in me. I have a thing for flowers and fedora hats. I love spicy food—when I say spicy, I mean at least dark orange on the Scoville scale. My favourite fruit is mangosteen.

Side note: the animals featured in my photos come from various locations around the globe, including Vietnam, Turkey, Italy and Spain.
